Bilbao, situated in the north of Spain. Actually a city that doesn't offer too much. To be honest: It only has the Guggenheim Museum that makes it worth a visit. And the Museo de Bellas Artes. The nightlife was rather limited. Okay, we were there on a Tuesday night, but having problems to find something to eat at 23:00 h is a thing that is kind of unbearable - in Spain they have normally dinner at 22:00 h, but here we had to find out that the País Vasco, the Bask Country, is indeed somehow different to the rest of Spain. So we had to go to Burger King (which also closed at 23:45 h!). Viva el País Vasco! ;-)

At least this house was still illuminated after having dinner at the Bask restaurant Burger King.

And like every Spanish city [except Madrid... ;-)]: Bilbao has also a cathedral.

The most interesting part of Bilbao: the Guggenheim Museum.

As you can see: Bilbao offers also the ideal
weather to go to a museum.
But seriously: the exhibitions inside a really worth a visit!

"Spiderman is coming and is having you for dinner..." (The Cure).

The Museum of Fine Arts - el Museo de Bellas
Artes.
Also very nice exhibitions.

The filmed "The Matrix" at the river of Bilbao.
